Goodbye Snow

I came back this afternoon and saw Toffee nibbling in a corner. Where's Snow, I wondered. I peeped into every corner of the cage but there was no sight of her. I took a good look again. Then i looked at Toffee and I thought he looked rather suspicious enjoying himself nibbling....to my horror I saw a white, lifeless body just beside Toffee...and Toffee was chewing on that body..EWWWW..and I saw him chewing on something which looked like a papaya seed..that must have been Snow's eyeball... :( Somehow I never seem to have much "luck" with female pets. They always die first. Sigh...I had to scoop out the dead body and this was right before dinner...what a loss of appetite..
