Duke (1984-1988)

This is Duke, my second dog. Picture's not clear because it was taken from a manual camera those days. He's a cross between a bull terrier and something else. He fused into our family about a year after Baron did. He's the most obedient of all the dogs I've owned. Although bull terriers are known for their ferocious nature, Duke was always even tempered. Although he was younger than Baron, the latter outlived him. Sadly, Duke died of a heart attack one day when a strange man approached my gate. I was out for lunch at that time, and I saw him shortly before I left. That was the last time I ever saw him alive. I still miss my Duke.
