Going Soft

It's been a fruitful day, got a number of things accomplished. The day started at 6.30am, went to pick HL up to send CN off.By the time I got to her place, it was about 7am and we took a slow drive to KLIA. It was raining intermittently. By the time we nearly arrived at KLIA, CN and his parents were just leaving the house! They made it on time though, I shan't ask what speed they were driving at...We had a sumptuous breakfast of dim sum at Eden before we saw him off.

Later today we went off to Mid Valley to shop for soft furnishing. Made a stopover at Starbucks for a quick jolt of caffeine.After that we headed off to Metro and Jusco. I spent a bomb on soft furnishing(and some other frivolous things)..here's what I purchased today:

* Quilt with bedsheets, pillow case and bolster case (70% discount..extremely good buy)
* Bean bag + filling
* 3 cushion inserts and covers
* stainless steel racks
* 2 press out doll books for Claire (my niece)

Spent the afternoon stuffing the styrofoam beads into the bean bag. It was pretty fun, as we kept spilling the beads and had to run after the runaway beads!I didn't buy enough bags of beads to fill the bean bag, and the bean bag ended up pretty flat.We rested for a bit before heading off for Christmas choir practice.

This is the first time I've ever been in a choir!! It was fun! We sang soprano parts and today we sang 2 pieces:
*Mary did you know
*Christmas Fantasia (medley of It's the Most wonderful time of the year, Deck the halls and God rest you merry gentleman)

We definitely need more practice on the high notes! We sounded like a cat being sucked through a vacuum cleaner....

After practice, we decided to have dinner with the 3 Musketeers. Guess where we ended up...Mid Valley AGAIN! Well, the 3 Musketeers wanted to go to MV and I needed more stuffing for my bean bag. Bought another 3 twin bags of stuffing.

It's been a nice day :)
